Yume No Yume Freesia, low-smoke incense
The botanist who found this flower in a distant land did not honor his discovery with his own name, but instead chose to dedicate it to his beloved friend. This is probably why, in the language of flowers, freesia is associated with tender love.
Think of the time spent with a loved one,
the scene you dreamed of.
With the fresh fragrance of freesia,
take the time to strengthen the bonds that unite you.
Yume no Yume incense - literally dream of dreams - combines poetry and fragrances. It evokes ancient texts such as the Kokin Wakashu, an anthology of ancient and modern Japanese poetry. This collection of waka poems was published in the 10th century, approximately 100 years before the famous Tale of Genji.
