- This pre-filter is an additional way to keep your pond/pool clean.
- The pre-filter traps large particles in your pond water to prevent them from entering the pump or filter.
- The body is transparent, making it easy to see when it needs to be cleaned.
- The total filter area is greater than that of a standard pre-filter of most pumps.
- However, the main advantage is that the pump remains in service longer. A swimming pool pump's pre-filter sucks harder when the basket section upstream of the pump inlet is clogged.
