The Pond Skimmer or skimmer is a floating device that continuously sucks up impurities suspended on the surface of the water with its built-in pump. These are then collected and stored in a tank.

Often, the surface of the water is covered with deposits of dust and pollen, branches and other dead leaves. These organic materials are nutrients for algae. Hence the need to remove them. A good skimmer rids the pool of these impurities and gives it back its beautiful clean appearance.

Velda has therefore developed a special skimmer that sucks up all the impurities that have settled on the surface of the water. Floating on the surface of the water, the skimmer continuously sucks it up using its pump. The impurities sucked up are collected in a small tank that is easy to empty and clean.
