Oxypond (formerly Oxyper) is not a chemical but an oxygen preparation that attacks the cellular structure of algae, making it smaller or completely disappearing.

Direct action against thread algae thanks to active oxygen:

• Contains special bacteria that break down dead algae
• Acts preventively against parasitic attacks
• Acts against gill necrosis in fish
• Does not contain heavy metals or organic biocides
• Improved water quality

In the ponds, excess solids such as food residues, fish excreta and organic decomposition products accumulate and cause the formation of oxygen-poor deposits. These processes reduce the oxygen content of the water, which induces stress in the fish. Stress stunts fish growth and makes them susceptible to disease. The use of Oxypond clearly improves water quality. Thanks to Oxypond, the water is saturated with oxygen, which improves the living conditions of the fish. Simultaneously, it improves the color and clarity of the water, resulting in its high purity. In addition, Oxypond biologically attacks thread algae. Pour Oxypond directly into the water to be treated or specifically on thread algae.

The prescribed dose should not be exceeded. Important: Do not use this product when pH values ​​exceed 8.6. Repeat the treatment only after 3 days.

DOSAGE: 1000 grams of Oxypond is sufficient to treat approximately 20-50 m³ of water. The normal dosage of Oxypond is 30 g/m³ of water. The permitted dose should not exceed 50 g/m³.

Small doses of 10 g/m³ are suitable for increasing oxygen levels during fish transport. In case of soft water (carbonate hardness CH < 3° dH, total hardness dH < 6° dH), reduce the dose, unless the water is first treated with a product to increase the carbonate hardness, such as Kusuri Bio Balance for example. During the first use, leaves accumulated on the bottom and other waste can rise to the surface due to the oxygen released.
