She will sing it for the first time in September 1949 in New York. A few weeks later, Marcel Serdan will tragically die in the crash of the Paris – New York flight, while he was joining her. Many artists have performed this moving song, from Cindy Lauper to Fubuki Koshiji. Our chime is a tribute to Edith Piaf and the eternal power of love.
