• These UVC units made from premium 316L stainless steel have unrivaled action at a fast rate. Thanks, among other things, to the 150 mm diameter body, exposure to UVC radiation is guaranteed for at least 2 seconds at the indicated flow rate (see table). The use of a special 'high intensity' UVC lamp, rated at 30,000 microwatts (25,000 at end of life), and the minimum exposure of two seconds destroys not only microscopic algae but also 99.9 % countless harmful bacteria and viruses such as Aeromanas, Pseudomonas and Legionellosis.

• For these lamps, the pond capacity is usually not taken into account, but rather the pump capacity per (actual) hour. Bio UV lamps are, among other things, applied in swimming pools to disinfect instead of chlorine. Maximum pressure 3 bar continuous, maximum water temperature 40°C. 13,000 hours of service (performance was also measured after 13,000 hours of service).
