The Pond Protector Velda is an effective repellent that keeps unwanted predators away from ponds. Amateurs or professional koi carp breeders often see their precious subjects disappear ... in the beaks of herons.
The Pond Protector is a new kind of device against cats and herons. It is in fact an electric fence that protects any pond from undesirables, cats and herons, ready to empty it of its precious fish.
Its operation is simple: An energizer serving as a transformer gives low voltage electrical impulses (therefore without any danger) to the fence. Touching the fence wire by a heron or a cat triggers a jolt that will deter the predatory animal from returning.
The Pond Protector is supplied with a transformer, 10 insulating posts, 80 meters of fence wire, connectors and instructions. The 80 meters of fence are enough to protect a pool perimeter of 40 meters from a double row of electrified wire.
