Sera PrefiX Filter - Biological filter

Pre-filter, biological filter or rapid filter for connection to pumps or an external filter

With the sera PrefiX filter, the filtration volume of a downstream filter can be extended up to 1.6 liters with two variably usable filter baskets. The unpowered filter can be used eg as a pre-filter for turbidity, as a rapid filter in case of pollution or as a biological filter to increase the filtration capacity of a small external filter.

The filter can be connected to a pump or an external filter using a hose will be 16/22 mm. It is also possible to connect several PrefiX filters in a row. For fine grain filtration media, it is recommended to use sera 1 or 2 filtration media threads.
