The Eclipse wind chime was created on the occasion of the solar eclipse on August 21, 2017. Notes that are one octave apart are considered harmonic equivalents; when played together they produce a very pleasing sound. In the case of this chime, each note is combined with its double octave, which reinforces the effect of the harmonics.
