With each water change, toxic substances such as chlorine and heavy metals can enter the aquarium water. Even in our well-controlled drinking water, these substances are often present in critical concentrations for fish and other aquarium inhabitants.

sera aquatan immediately conditions tap water into healthy, fish-friendly water. It removes harmful substances such as chlorine and chloroamine, binds heavy metals (eg copper, zinc or lead) and protects against ammonia. At the same time, it adds important minerals to the water in bioavailable form, which benefit fish, plants, invertebrates and beneficial microorganisms:

• calcium for a strong, well-proportioned skeleton and perfect scales
• magnesium for strong growth and muscles
• manganese for healthy growth and improved fertility
• iodine for a balanced development and more resistance

sera aquatan provides fish-friendly water by removing toxic ammonia and chlorine. These substances are harmful even in low concentrations to fish and shrimp and can even be fatal. The diagram shows when fish and/or shrimp are in danger.
