Description du produit :
Black bronze bell used in Zen temples.
Keizu or daitokuji is the name given to this traditional bell in Buddhist temples, where it accompanies the recitation of sutras and other ceremonies. A mallet is struck from the side, in a conscious way, to obtain a clear and deep sound. Generally large in size, the penetrating sound of the keizu bell fills the meditation halls, inviting serenity of mind and harmony among group members. Bowl made in Taiwan, mallet and cushion made in Japan.
“As I listen to the sound of the bell, I feel my afflictions begin to dissolve, my mind calms down, my body relaxes. A smile forms on my lips. Following the sound of the bell, my breathing takes me back to the safe island of mindfulness.” Thich Nhat Hanh
