UVOZONE STAINLESS STEEL

By using the combined effect of ozone oxidation and ultraviolet light disinfection in a single system, the UVOZONE guarantees high performance and environmentally friendly water treatment at an extremely low cost. Thus, the fields of application of the UVOZONE are very varied.

Potable water :
Guaranteed to kill 99.9% of microorganisms. The destruction of 99.9% of microorganisms is necessary for the production of drinking water. Aquatic Science has an ultraviolet monitor that measures ultraviolet intensity in water and expresses it in percent. The UVOZONE is successfully used in the preparation of drinking water in private and public places (hotels, hospitals, ships and trains).

Swimming pools:
A swimming pool without the negative effects of chlorine. The decisive advantage of the UVOZONE process for swimming pools lies in the fact that it destroys monochloramines, dichloramines and trichloramines. Chloramines appear following the reaction of chlorine with organic substances (such as urine, peeling skin, perspiration or suntan oil). They are responsible for red eyes, skin irritation, allergies and unpleasant chlorine smell. All the effects of chlorine are reduced thanks to the degradation of chloramines promoting the well-being of the bather. Pool water purification is complete when the water leaves the UVOZONE system. In order to maintain a long-term effect, very small amounts of chlorine (0.1 - 0.3 mg per litre) are automatically injected into the pool to prevent algae growth in dead zones, nooks, ...

Ponds, BIO swimming pools (Swimming) and aquariums:
Helping the ecosystem efficiently. Even in the case of overloaded ponds, the UVOZONE process, in combination with a biological filter, also guarantees an optimal natural habitat for plants, fish and other aquatic organisms - without the use of chemicals. The UVOZONE process reduces exposure to germs, oxidizes a multitude of persistent toxic substances (such as nitrites, humic substances, pesticides). It offers disinfection against all pathogens such as HSV, IPN, IPN, UDN, PKD, furunculosis and vibro.


UVOZONE HDPE

Fish farming, aquaculture, oyster farming, shellfish farming:
The Uvozone process oxidizes a multitude of persistent toxic substances, reduces exposure to germs and provides effective disinfection against the majority of viral or bacterial fish diseases. It is also active against parasites and, of course, against algae. The use of Uvozone for the disgorging of shellfish allows the use of pure water free of germs.

Nature as a model
Some sunlight is not visible to the human eye. This is the case of Ultra Violets, light rays which have a particular interest in water treatment: they destroy harmful microorganisms in a few seconds, thus guaranteeing effective disinfection of water (this method is used, for example, to produce drinking water). These “UV” rays have another advantage: they can act on oxygen (O2) and produce ozone (O3). Ozone is a true purifier which, in nature, will destroy (oxidize) many toxic substances and produce perfectly purified water.
The Uvozone® works in the same way: it uses UV radiation to naturally disinfect and purify water thanks to the combination of solar rays and ozone.

The ozone cycle in nature
Under the influence of the sun's UV rays (1), the oxygen (2) in the air splits into two atoms (3) to then form an ozone molecule (4). The ozone will react to eliminate the polluting agents (5) while releasing an oxygen molecule.

The ozone cycle in the Uvozone®
Thanks to a specific UV bulb (1), in addition to destroying germs and pathogens, the air is irradiated with ultraviolet light which converts oxygen into ozone (2). The air-ozone mixture is injected into the water circuit upstream of the Uvozone® (3). Ozone (4) leads to the oxidation of pathogenic organisms present in water and toxic materials in solution. The water then passes into the reaction chamber (5) where it is sterilized by UV rays. The remaining ozone is destroyed there.
