Is it possible to use an EPDM tarpaulin for my roof? Legally, I can't promise you anything, EPDM pond covers are not recommended and legal for your roof.
Why? These EPDM tarpaulins simply do not have the fire standard necessary for the slightly thicker roof tarpaulin.
This is the only difference to applying a pond tarp to your roof. This is what justifies the price difference between an EPDM roofing tarpaulin and a pond roofing tarpaulin.
Please note that a roof tarpaulin is not suitable for a garden pond. The PONDGUARD unlike the roof tarpaulin is not guaranteed drinking water and may be more toxic for your fish.
