Bactéries en piscine naturelle & lagunage, lesquelles utiliser pour mon bassin?

Bacteria in natural swimming pools & lagoons, which ones should I use for my pool?

Do you have algae in your lagoon or natural swimming pool?

Discover our solutions to limit the development of algae, improve water transparency and limit the accumulation of organic matter. They are the number one enemy of any owner of natural swimming pools.

There are several varieties, but all can be extremely invasive and are capable of rapidly producing enormous quantities of biomass (stems, leaves, etc.).

These bacteria (enzymes, micro-organisms and bacteria) will strengthen the biological balance in ponds and help keep the water balanced with two to three spreadings per year. They are suitable for both ornamental ponds and swimming pools of all sizes - from garden ponds to public natural swimming pools.

Benefits of adding bacteria to a natural pool?

For several years, we have been developing bacteria with several specialists in Belgium that are specific for natural swimming pools and lagoons. These bacteria have several strong points:

  • Limits the development of algae
  • Reduces the accumulation and quantity of organic matter
  • Maintains clear water
  • Optimized filtration
  • Decrease in phosphates and nitrates

Before using a bacteria-based treatment, we still recommend that you remove as much algae as possible by hand (for example, with a toilet brush). Filamentous pool algae develop in the water when the light level decreases (spring and autumn) and there is a high nitrate level . In fact, algae need nutrients to grow.

  • Prune your aquatic plants as winter approaches (yellow leaves)
  • Limit fish overpopulation ( you can use a trap )

Do these bacteria pose a risk to my pool?

Bacteria are an important and natural part of our environment. These bacteria are not pathogenic and are harmless to humans. Our product range includes specialized and highly effective bacterial blends, which will facilitate the maintenance of your natural swimming pool.

Bacterial products do not contain any enzymes that would damage aquatic plants and contribute to the continuous release of organic nutrients. The products are completely safe for all aquatic animals, fish and people.

The bacteria in our blends will actively help you care for the water quality of your garden pond or natural swimming pool without ever needing electricity or chemical-based disinfectants, which can be harmful to living organisms.
