For connection to an air pump, it is advisable to reduce the pipe as late as possible for flow loss. To size the diffusers to an air pump, it is quite simple.
If the pump is a JDK20, it is a 20L/M. If it is a JDK80, it is 80L/M. Once you know the flow rate, you will need the same capacity in diffusion to prevent the pump from overheating.
So, if I have a JDK20, I will use a 20L/M diffuser (you can find them here and select the flow rate on your left ). Then, you will need a one-way tap ( SC214 ), which you can find by clicking here .
If you have a JDK80 , you could for example use a 4-way tap, with one way to a 50L/M, and the other three to 10L/M. This is a setup that you assemble as you wish, as long as the sizing is respected and the pump delivers all the air it will produce.
