STARTING A NEW POOL

When starting a new pond , a wide variety of quality bacteria is required before introducing fish . The main group, namely nitrifying bacteria, are not present when starting a new pond. The addition of Bactocool ensures that these essential bacteria are present in large quantities from the start.

• 500 ml for 5000 liters of pool capacity
• 1 liter for 10,000 liters of pool capacity

ADDING FISH TO AN EXISTING POND

Adding fish to an existing pond increases the level of toxic waste to be processed by the filter. If the existing bacteria are not able to convert this additional toxic waste into harmless substances, ammonia and nitrite problems may occur. Avoid sudden fish kills by increasing the efficiency of the filter through the use of Bactocool.

MAINTENANCE OF YOUR POOL

It is recommended, in order to prepare the pond for the end of the winter period, to add Bactocool to the pond filter in spring (from March). The addition of a culture of live nitrifying bacteria ensures a rapid restoration of the biological balance after winter.

A disruption of the necessary biological balance may occur again when cleaning the filter, or after medical treatment. Avoid sudden fish mortality by improving the efficiency of the filter through the use of Bactocool.

1 litre for 50,000 litres of pool capacity

HOW TO USE BACTOCOOL?

Shake well before use.

It is best to pour Bactocool into the filter if there is one.

Since Bactocool contains live bacteria, the UV lamp must be turned off for 7 days. After this period, the bacteria will have sufficiently attached to the filter and can no longer be killed by the UV rays.

Conservation

Since Bactocool contains live bacteria, it is recommended to store the product in the refrigerator (4°C).

The product will still be safe to use after the recommended expiration date, but it will be less effective.
