This revolutionary filtration substrate has many advantages: easy to use and maintain, hyper-efficient, natural and eternal. Filtration as efficient in mechanics as in biology.

100% neutral natural ceramic : no rejection possible, no addition of chemicals. Does not degrade: infinitely reusable . Can be mixed or combined with other substrates.

No preferential passage of water : For the first time, water will actually pass through ALL filter media evenly; no longer only their surface or the empty areas of the substrate (preferential passage).

Mix of density, size and shape to create variations in the speed of the current: better mixing, better oxygenation, better purifying power!

The highly porous network form provides a very high bacterial attachment surface. The bacterial colonization surface of the Biocerapond varies from 1450 to 3000 m ² /m ³ depending on the (variable) density of the ceramic pieces.

Hyper-efficient mechanical filtration without possible clogging.

Significantly higher efficiency than conventional filter media (essentially linked to the efficiency of uniform passage through the ceramic).

Place as is in one or more filtration chambers. Prefer bottom-up water flow (upflow) and opaque chambers (lid). In case of excess organic matter, purge the chamber, do a back wash or rinse with a jet. Does not float, must not be washed before use. Can be used in both freshwater and saltwater.
