Electrochlorinators (water-disinfection equipment based on salt electrolysis) are equipped with electrodes through which pool water flows and where chlorine is generated.

Over time, limescale deposits, organic residue, and mineral sediments will form on the surface of these electrodes, even on those equipped with polarity-reversal systems, limiting the equipment's performance or causing it to malfunction. This is why it is essential to clean the electrodes properly.
CTX-35 was developed for this purpose. DECALER ELECTROLYTE CELLS is a ready-to-use acid cleaner specially designed to remove limescale deposits without damaging the electrodes.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Place the electrodes in a container with the product so that it completely covers them, but does not rise above the top of the cell, to prevent the product from attacking the screws and nuts on the outside of the cell. Allow the product to work for some time. Once the cleaning process is complete, rinse the electrodes thoroughly with water and place them back in the cell. Caution: Before starting to clean the electrodes, check the instructions provided by the manufacturer of your chlorine generator regarding chemical incompatibilities. These are the recommended doses and may be modified according to the specific characteristics of each pool, climate, etc.
