Nitrite is a toxic nitrogen compound, produced in the event of a disturbed bacterial balance or new impoundment. The test displays exactly the nitrite content of the water.
Comparative laboratory system to compensate for the inherent color of the water: fill the test tubes with water to be tested, add the reagents to a test tube, place the test tubes in the support block, note the values on the color chart.
Use: for new fresh water tank: daily for 3 weeks. For new seawater tank: once a week. And in case of disease or death of fish.
