The 2 filters with similar dimensions are perfectly suited to ponds up to 40 m³ without fish and 20 m³ with fish. The Upflow filter which can be used in gravity has some additional advantages allowing a more efficient filtration:

1. An upward flow allowing better settling of waste at the bottom of the chambers
2. The use of Japanese rugs in all rooms except the first
