Round Blue Kapok Zafu

The zafu helps you adopt impeccable posture, thereby taking care of both your mind and body. By raising your pelvis, it helps you sit upright, straightens your spine, and prevents tension. The zafu may feel a little firm at first, but with use it will quickly adapt to the appropriate firmness.

Made from 100% natural materials

Kapok is the traditional filling for zafus in Japan: it allows you to meditate comfortably for extended periods. The natural microfibers it contains are hollow like bamboo and covered with a fatty substance; for these reasons, kapok is lighter than cotton, almost waterproof, and free from parasites.

A kapok zafu may flatten after prolonged use: place it in the sun so it can regain its original shape. One of the pleats is not sewn shut, allowing you to refill it if you wish. To clean your zafu, brush the fabric or use a vacuum cleaner. Stains can be removed by rubbing them with a damp cloth.
