Black Hiragana Round Kapok Zafu

This Black Hiragana round zafu combines Japanese cotton fabric with kapok filling. Handmade in Spain, it features a pattern inspired by hiragana calligraphy. The black background gives this meditation cushion a understated look, designed to raise the pelvis while seated.

Kapok filling that requires care

Kapok provides firm seating that gradually settles with use. An opening left accessible allows the filling to be topped up if necessary. The cushion has reinforced stitching; a matching zabuton can be purchased separately to complete the setup.

Care

Brush the fabric or use a vacuum cleaner. For a localized stain, gently wipe with a damp cloth and leave to dry. The manufacturer recommends exposing the cushion to sunlight to help the kapok regain its volume.
