Vase bell (cleaning bell) for cleaning aquariums from 20 to 45 cm in height

• Improved and very efficient vase bell for sucking up waste in aquariums from 20 cm in height
• Usage: Shake the vase bell, the water flows into the bucket, vacuum the dirt from the soil substrate. Finally, close the stopcock.
• A right angle on the round shape vase bell can achieve a powerful swirl effect by rotating it to effectively lift dirt and vacuum corners of the aquarium easily.
• Removable and washable protective screen, preventing accidental aspiration of plants, shrimps and fish.
• Included in delivery: 1 vase bell with priming valve, diam. 4 cm, length 27 cm, 2 m hose supplied (12/16 mm), 2 hose clips, shut-off valve.

Push the bell jar into the soil of your aquarium in circular motions. Soil substrate and waste are sucked up into the silt bell. Driven by its own weight, the substrate falls back and only the dirt is sucked out of the aquarium. For fine sand, you can adjust the suction by lifting the vase bell so that the light sand also falls by gravity. A sieve integrated in the bell prevents fish or shrimp from being inadvertently sucked in. The sieve can be removed for cleaning.

If you use a long-acting fertilizer under the gravel cover layer (e.g. JBL PROFLORA AQUA BASIS), you should avoid pushing the cleaning bell into the ground until it hits the bottom pane, and go no deeper than the thickness of the soil substrate layer.
