OASE SchlixX Plus combines chemical and biological action to support the breakdown of organic sludge in ponds and large bodies of water. The oxygen released promotes microbial activity, while the microorganisms in the biological component contribute to the decomposition of organic matter.

The product also binds the phosphate released during this breakdown in the form of an insoluble mineral, apatite. This makes the phosphate less available to nourish algae.

What type of sludge accumulation is it intended for?

SchlixX Plus acts on organic deposits. It does not remove sand or mineral sediments carried in by water inflows. OASE recommends analyzing the sludge beforehand to determine whether its composition is suitable for this treatment.

The 10 kg package covers 200 m² at a dosage of 50 g/m². The product is distributed evenly over the surface of the body of water, either dry or suspended in water, with the latter method preferred by the manufacturer. Read the complete instructions before application.
