OASE SchlixX Plus 25 kg is intended for ponds and bodies of water where an accumulation of organic matter contributes to sludge buildup. According to the manufacturer's specifications, this package covers an indicative area of 500 m².

Two complementary actions

SchlixX Plus releases oxygen to promote the conditions required for the microbial degradation of deposits. Its biological component provides microorganisms that contribute to the decomposition of organic matter. The released phosphate is fixed in the form of apatite, an insoluble mineral, to limit its availability to algae.

The treatment targets the organic fraction of the sludge. It does not remove sand or mineral sediments carried by runoff or incoming streams. A preliminary analysis of the sludge can confirm whether its composition justifies this type of treatment.

Preparing the treatment

Measure the area to be treated, examine the deposits, and follow the instructions for use before applying the product. Performance depends on the nature of the sludge and the conditions of the body of water. For an accumulation containing both coarse debris and organic matter, mechanically removing the larger deposits can complement the maintenance program.
